For a recent article in The Atlantic, H+ Creative artist Mishko created three images - each a psychedelic look at social media and the 2020 election. The article, entitled "The Billion-Dollar Disinformation Campaign to Reelect the President", examines how social media has been used by dictators in past global campaigns and how it may be used this year. In Mishko's, art distorts images, icons, and figureheads to reflect the warping of the media landscape. Included below are the images of Mishko's work while in process.
