At H+ Creative, we're thrilled to introduce Maciek Martyniuk, known in the creative world as YoMagick. Based in Barcelona, Maciek is a freelance 3D designer and digital artist whose work transforms cultural inspiration into healing digital sanctuaries. With a keen eye for surreal landscapes, pure rendering techniques, and romantic nostalgia, he reimagines travel memories and architectural wonders through tranquil dreamscapes. His unique artistic style continues to evolve, pushing the boundaries of 3D visualization and therapeutic digital environments.
H+: Your work creates these peaceful, dreamlike worlds with floating beds and ladders in the sky. Where do these ideas come from, and how do you choose what to include in each scene?
YoMagick: I always try to stay true to my inner vision. The bed, ladder, and cloud series began when I left my design job in Barcelona to follow what I felt was my real calling — to “dream” in the literal sense. I had no clients at the time, only intuition. Often lying in bed, I imagined myself already somewhere else, already inside another world. That became the foundation: the bed as a starting point, the ladder as the first step forward, the cloud as a limitless destination.
For me, the ideas are personal but always motivating — an invitation for others to take their own first step toward what they want to realize. Elle once described my work as “a blooming lavender field that entices us to dream of life goals that will make us feel content and realise them one step at a time.” That felt like the truest expression of what I intended: dreamscapes that hold both comfort and possibility.

H+: You've lived in seven different countries and traveled extensively. How does moving around the world influence the art you create?
YoMagick: Every place leaves a trace in my imagination. Barcelona reconnected me with surrealism through the exhibition Objects of Desire, which reignited my practice. The Caribbean, with its atmosphere of the tropics, reshaped how I saw color and form. In Southeast Asia, I’ve been inspired by the calm skies, landscapes, and cultural rhythms that continue to shape my visual language.
Moving so often taught me that “home” is not a physical location but an inner state. My work reflects that: dreamlike environments where anyone can pause, rest, and feel at home, no matter where they are.
H+: Your "Dreamlands" series is made entirely in 3D without any editing afterwards. Why is that process important to you?
YoMagick: Working fully in 3D means I’m not just painting a surface — I’m building a world. Every light, every texture, every detail exists within a dimensional space. That honesty matters to me: it makes the dream tangible. These aren’t collages of fantasy, they’re complete spaces you could almost walk into, or animate into a living experience.

H+: You focus on simple, universal things like clouds, grass, and sky in your work. What draws you to these everyday elements?
YoMagick: Because they are honest. They belong to everyone. Clouds, grass, sky — they are gifts we are given in their pure form. They hold no design, no ownership, yet they connect us all. I think it’s important to celebrate that simplicity, and to remind us of what’s already here, surrounding us.
H+: Your art blends surrealism with a sense of calm and positivity. How do you balance creating something dreamlike while keeping it inviting and relaxing?
YoMagick: For me, surrealism isn’t about distortion — it’s about expansion. I want to open a door into another world, but one that still feels safe, warm, and full of possibility. I gravitate toward positive energy, inner peace, and hope. Of course, surrealism could just as easily show storms and chaos, but I prefer to use it as a tool to motivate, to lift the spirit, to offer a pause in the noise of everyday life.

H+: You've worked with major brands like Apple, Adobe, and Volkswagen. How do you bring your personal vision to commercial projects?
YoMagick: I see each commission as a dialogue. Sometimes clients want to adapt my existing works; other times I develop new concepts inspired by my past explorations. Either way, I bring the same foundation: a surreal yet accessible language of clouds, ladders, and landscapes that connect to universal feelings. I aim to find the balance between a brand’s voice and my own vision — so the result feels authentic and emotionally resonant.
H+: What do you hope people feel or think about when they experience your work?
YoMagick: I hope they feel possibility. My images are often quiet and calm, but they carry a message: that life is full of unique opportunities, and that every step, even a small one, can bring us closer to our dreams. At the core, I want to remind people of the uniqueness of being human, and to inspire them to stay hopeful, healthy, and true to their path.
