LANDO NORRIS X MCLAREN X ANDROID

CREATIVES: Christian Holland, Prateek Vatash, Machineast
CLIENT: The-Team for McLaren Formula 1 Team & Android
ROLE: 3D Illustration
For the 2026 Singapore Grand Prix, Lando Norris’s helmet takes on a bold new look, bringing his signature visual style together with the intricate artistry of Peranakan beadwork. Created by H+ Creative artists Christian Holland, Prateek Vatash, and Singapore-based duo Machineast, the design is part of a wider project commissioned by The-Team for McLaren Formula 1 Team and Android. The team translates the traditional Nyonya craft into detailed 3D illustrations, recreating the look of individual glass beads across every curve of the helmet. From the flowing patterns to the smallest decorative elements, each detail is carefully constructed before being prepared for print production.
A vivid yellow base sets the stage for Norris’s signature black blobs, which twist and weave around a gold-green dragon and blossoming lotuses. Pink and green floral details bring bursts of color throughout, while the Android bot is tucked into the composition as a subtle nod to the collaboration. The result brings together Norris’s unmistakable aesthetic and the rich visual language of Peranakan craftsmanship, giving a centuries-old decorative tradition a new home on the Formula 1 grid.
